Lions of Love
I’ve had a lot of difficulty finding the right arrangement for this song. Everything I’ve recorded sounds somehow both uncomfortable and drone-y. Fortunately, I was able to lay down a good drum track yesterday and today I figured out a bass line. It’s a fine start but I think the real color will come out in the piano and back-up vocals. We’ll see..

One of the high points of my life is when I received a lukewarm track review from Pitchfork. Unfortunately the review got deleted when they did a design overhaul and I thought I’d never see it again. But a few months ago I found it cataloged amongst a bunch of other online reviews at HDIFTBL.
